Emily is a first-year graduate student in the Industrial/Organizational Psychology’s master’s program at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). She graduated with her bachelor’s degree in psychology from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville in May 2025.

During her undergrad, Emily gained hands-on research experience as a research assistant for the Social Perception and Cognition Lab (SPĀC). Her responsibilities ranged from conducting in-depth literature reviews, guiding participants through studies, and analyzing and coding stimuli for use in future research. Outside of the lab, Emily worked as a Data Specialist for a healthcare company, there she developed and distributed employee engagement surveys and maintained data dashboards to track key metrics following data collection.
