Meet the COHRE Staff – Nadia Armstrong

Nadia is a first-year graduate student in the Industrial/Organizational Psychology master’s program at Middle Tennessee State University and works as a project associate at the Center of Organizational and Human Resource Effectiveness (COHRE).

Nadia graduated with honors from Southern Methodist University in December 2022, earning her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in neuroscience. During her undergraduate studies, she worked as a research assistant for various labs. In the Memory and Affective Processes across the Lifespan (MAPL) Lab, she conducted her own independent research study titled “Cognitive Reappraisal is Associated with Lower Dysphoria Symptoms During the COVID-19 Pandemic.” This study was published in SMU’s Journal of Undergraduate Research.

Nadia completed her post-bacc research at Vanderbilt University, working as a research analyst in the Early Psychosis Lab and the Music Cognition Lab. She looks forward to gaining new experiences in Industrial/Organizational Psychology through COHRE.
